Hey moms and dads! We are looking for a name for our son that won't be a struggle for his American teachers, but works perfectly back in Germany. We like Julian and Leo, but are they too popular?

Leo is definitely popular, but honestly, it is a classic for a reason. It is universally loved across Europe and the US. Have you looked at Felix? It is easy for English speakers and feels very vintage and friendly.

I would definitely vote for Felix. It is simple, phonetically clear, and has a great meaning. Arthur is another huge favorite of mine that translates well.

Don't stress too much about popularity. If you love Julian, use it. A name is popular because it is a good name.
